You might recognize yourself here

  • You lose patience in the moment—and feel regret, guilt, or frustration afterwards
  • You find yourself reacting in ways that don’t reflect the parent you want to be
  • You feel stuck in the same patterns with your child, despite your best intentions
  • You want to stay calm and present—but feel overwhelmed or triggered in the moment
  • You care deeply about your child, yet sometimes feel disconnected, tense, or drained
  • You’re trying to parent differently from how you were raised—but feel unsure how

If this feels familiar, you’re not alone—and it can change.

The ASC (Ask yourself) Method

Denise ASC's method combines self-compassion and Nonviolent Communication in a coaching framework that supports you in slowing down, listening deeply to yourself, and responding in a way that is more aligned with your needs.

Arrive. Sense. Connect.

The art of listening deeply — to yourself, to your body — and remaining open to what the body is telling you.

A — Arrive (pause, come into the moment)

S — Sense (notice what’s happening in your body)

C — Connect (to your feelings/needs + what may be alive in the child)

Step 1 — Start with a conversation

We begin with a free clarity call to explore what’s going on for you, what you’re looking for, and whether this work feels like the right fit.

→ A space to talk, reflect, and see if this feels aligned for you.

How we work together

A supportive, structured process designed to meet you where you are.

Step 2 — Work together at your pace

If we decide to continue, we meet regularly (typically online) in sessions where we bring your real-life situations into the conversation. Together, we explore what’s happening beneath the surface—your reactions, emotions, and patterns—and begin to create space for different ways of responding.

→ Each session is shaped around what matters most to you.

Step 3 — Integrate into daily life

Between sessions, you may start to notice small but meaningful shifts—in how you pause, respond, and relate to yourself and others.

→ The intention is not perfection, but more awareness, choice, and consistency over time.

Practical details

Sessions are held online and can be scheduled flexibly to fit your routine.

You don’t need to have it all figured out before starting—just a willingness to pause, look a little deeper, and begin from where you are.
