I'm Denise.

As well as being a coach, I’m a mother of three children from a third-culture background, married, and deeply interested in people in all their complexity.

I came to this work with a strong sense of wanting to contribute—to a world where there is more respect, trust, and understanding between adults and children. A world where we all feel responsible for the well-being of children, because in many ways, we all are.

Coaching is my way of living that need to contribute.

I support parents—and those who relate to or interact with children—in creating more connection in their relationships.
Because when we communicate, I believe it matters to ask:

  • Are we clear about our own needs?

  • Can we understand what a child might be expressing beneath a behavior?

I also feel a strong need to contribute to teenagers and young adults.

They often face challenges—navigating identity, emotions, and an inner voice that isn’t always kind.
Part of my work is helping them listen more closely to themselves: to their body, their feelings, and understand the strategies they are using to meet their needs.

And from there, to begin relating to themselves with the same compassion they so naturally offer to others.

At the heart of my work is a simple but powerful process:

Listening.
Being present.
Asking the kind of questions that help you see yourself more clearly.

The metaphor I often use is that of a mirrored lake—a space where you can observe yourself and recognize the beauty you carry within.

This also means seeing the parts that seem more difficult, or that you might want to change. And sometimes, like water in motion, things can feel unclear before they settle again.

That’s part of the process.

I am a certified coach (CPCC – Certified Professional Co-Active Coach), and I work from a place of true partnership—where we are both fully present and focused on what really matters to you.

Alongside this, I bring over seven years of study and practice in Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
This process, centered on awareness of feelings and needs, supports greater clarity, emotional understanding, and alignment in how we relate—to ourselves and to others.

I work with a range of clients in both personal and professional contexts, including parents, adolescents, and professionals.

Many of the people I work with are willing to behave in a more conscious and intentional way, but they can’t figure out where to start or how to stay true to themselves while also caring that others have their needs met.

Supporting parents, in particular, through both the challenges and the richness of raising children is something I care deeply about.
